Taking stimulant medication overseas
Our take
Hey, adventurers! I’m facing a bit of a dilemma while preparing for my trip to Ireland with stopovers in Jakarta and Turkey. I completely forgot to get a letter from my psychiatrist regarding my stimulant medication. I’m torn about whether to take it or not. I have the original packaging with my name, dosage, and psychiatrist’s name, but no letter. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
I am unfortunately in the situation where I completely forgot to get a letter from my psychiatrist re: my stimulant medication.
I’m in two minds about whether to take it or not. If I take it, it will be in the original packaging with my full name, dosage, and name of my psych. But just no letter.
Anyone been in this situation and can provide some advice?
Edit to add - I’m travelling to Ireland with stopovers in Jakarta and Turkey. I’m planning on taking some meds in my carry on AND my check through.
