The local authorities blocked my passport

(Im sorry if this doesn’t fit the sub) So when I was travelling and I couldn’t find my id so I reported it missing to local authorities where I live. When I took a flight to the Filippines I was picked out before going through security. They refused me entry from the country because my passport was reported missing. It was a whole fiasco with calling my parents, siblings ect to get me out of there and figure out what was wrong. Turns out that when renewing my drivers license it was expired and I forgot. They saw the message to block identification and my passport being the only thing on file they blocked that. It was specified in the message it was my id but they obviously didn’t check that, so they blocked the next best thing.
