Travel Insurance - Do I Include Connecting Flight?

Our take

Hey there, adventurous traveler! 🌍 No question is dumb when it comes to securing your journey! When buying travel insurance, it's essential to include all legs of your trip, including connecting flights. Since your journey involves a stop in Kuwait, make sure to list it as part of your destination. Regarding the current situation in the Middle East, many insurers will cover connecting flights, but it's best to check with Tesco for specific policies. Stay safe and dream big on your travels! ✈️✨

Sorry for this dumb question but it's my first time buying my own travel insurance. I'm trying to buy one through Tesco (I have colleague discount) and when selecting destination country, do I include my connecting flight?

Bit of a background, I've booked through Kuwait Airways last September 2025 LHR-KWI-MNL. My connecting flight is less than 3 hrs. so do I include it?

Also, due to the conflict in the Middle East region, can I even get a travel insurance with my connecting flight to Kuwait?

Thank you in advance! 🤗
