Trip to Java

Hello! After spending 2 weeks in Bali (for work) and Lombok, I will fly to Java to explore Java. What do you think about the trip I have in mind? Did I forget something? Should I skipp something? Is the travel rhythm oke? Any other tips about travelling around Java are welcome. I'll be solo travelling in august 2026, Belgian female of 50 years young. If somebody wants to share some of the transport to keep costs low, always welcome to contact me.

My travelplan:

Day 1:Land in the evening in Jakarta (1N): explore? + sleep

Day 2: in the morning travel to Bandung(2N) Whoosh + explore half day

Day 3: explore Bandung Things i might want to do or see • White Crater (Kawah Putih) • Rengganis Suspension Bridge • Kawah Rengganis Hot Springs • Picnick aan Patenggang Lake (Situ Patenggang) • Theeplantages van Ciwidey • Floating Market van Lembang • Orchid Forest • Jalan Braga

Day 4: travel to Garut(2N):

Day 5: Garut exploring volcano, craterlake

Day 6: travel to Batu Karas(3N)

Day 7: exploring batu Karas+ Green canyon: body rafting

Day 8: relaxing day, beach, scooter, surf, chill maybe Madasari beach and/or Batu Karas beach

Day 9: travelday to Yogyakarta by train(4N)

Day 10: Borobudur + Menoreh Hillegom (E-bike?)

Day 11: a day in the city + Prambanan

Day 12: explore around Yogyakarta • Mount Merapi • Jomblang Cave • Pindul Cave

Day 13: travel to Bromo by train(3N)

Day 14: slow volcano day: • hike to nice viewpoints • Sea of sand • maybe horseriding • Enjoy the sunset

Day 15: Bromo sunrise and jeep tour + hiking

Day 16: travel to Tumbak Sewu(1N) + explore waterfalls • Tumpak Sewu • Kapas Biru • Tetes cava

Day 17: travel to Bali, ferry and drive to Jimbaran(2N)

Day 18: rest Jimbaran, Bali

Day 19: fly back to Belgium from Denpasar
