Two driving tickets from Italy
Our take
Hey everyone! I recently received two driving tickets from "Comune Di Verona" while exploring the beautiful streets of Verona. I’ve been trying to pay, but none of the payment options seem to work for me. My wife and I are eager to return to Europe soon, but I'm worried about what might happen if I can't settle these fines. I've seen mixed experiences from others who ignored similar tickets, but since these notices are from an official government collector, I'm feeling a bit more anxious.
I got two driving tickets while driving around Verona. The letters are coming from "Comune Di Verona" Centro Servizi internazionali.
I've been trying to pay, but I so far none of the payment options work for me. Ideally I'd like to pay since my wife wants to go back to Europe in the near future, but what could really happen if I am unable to pay?
I saw some message on here where people have not paid, gotten a call from collections, ignored it, and not had anything happen after 2+ years.
I am a bit more concerned since these letters seem to be coming from the local government's approved fine collector.
Can anyone shed some light for me?
