Our Take: Unexpectedly Pleasant Skies: A Surprisingly Good Air India Flight

Sometimes, the biggest adventures start with a little bit of unexpected detours, right? That’s exactly what happened for our traveler, who found themselves on an Air India flight when their original plans took a turn. Even though they were a bit hesitant, this journey turned out to be a bright spot, proving that sometimes, the less-traveled path can lead to the most surprisingly good vibes! It’s all about rolling with the punches and finding the sunshine, even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

This flight was a total glow-up from past experiences! Imagine stepping onto a brand new plane, sparkling clean and with everything working perfectly – from the entertainment system to the bathrooms. It’s like the plane itself was ready for an epic adventure. And the journey? A bit of a scenic route, sure, but it added to the whole experience. Even the food was solid, and the service was super prompt, making everyone feel looked after. It’s awesome when a flight feels less like a chore and more like part of the fun!

What really made this trip stand out was the vibe. With a flight that was practically empty, our traveler felt like they had their own little piece of the sky! It’s a reminder that sometimes, a little space can make all the difference. Even though they might not be switching their loyalty just yet, this positive experience definitely left them with a good feeling. It’s proof that even with a few bumps in the road, a little bit of unexpected joy can totally make your day. Keep dreaming big and embracing those adventures, because you never know what awesome surprises are waiting for you!

TLDR: Generally positive experience, albeit on an almost empty flight from LHR to DEL

Despite my reluctance, booked an itinerary on Air India between LHR and CCU (with a connection at DEL). Initially, i had a booking on Qatar Airlines. However, when the (newest) war in the Middle East started, I decided to have a backup booking. I bought a refundable ticket with Air India, with the thought that if things went to normal, I would fly with my original itinerary through Doha. But with the current situation dragging on, Qatar canceled my flight four days before boarding.
