Warning about LuggageToShip – paid for pickup, they never showed and then lied about it

Our take

**Warning about LuggageToShip – paid for pickup, they never showed and then lied about it** If you're considering using LuggageToShip, think twice! I scheduled a luggage pickup for April 2nd with a long window from 10 AM to 5 PM, ensuring I was available all day. Sadly, no one arrived. When I contacted customer service, they falsely claimed the driver had come and that my doorman said I’d moved out—completely untrue!

Title: Warning about LuggageToShip – paid for pickup, they never showed and then lied about it

I wanted to share my experience in case anyone is considering using LuggageToShip.

I scheduled a luggage shipment with a paid pick-up on April 2nd. The pickup window they gave me was already pretty wide (10 AM – 5 PM), but I made sure to be available. I literally sat in my building lobby the entire day so I wouldn’t miss them.

No one ever showed up.

When I contacted customer service, they told me the driver did come and that the doorman said I had already moved out. This is completely false. I was sitting in the lobby with the doorman the whole time, and no driver ever came or spoke to anyone.

So either:

  1. The driver never showed up and falsely marked the job as completed, or
  2. The company has no verification process and just relays whatever they’re told

Either way, it’s extremely concerning.

What made things worse is that customer service refused to take responsibility. I asked for a partial refund for the pickup fee (not even the full service), and they refused.

So I paid for a service that was never provided, and they backed it up with what appears to be a fabricated story.

If you’re thinking about using LuggageToShip, I’d strongly recommend reconsidering. At best, the service is unreliable. At worst, you may be charged for services that never happen and have no recourse.
