Three young individuals threw a coin near my parents to divert our attention while one of them snatched our backpack from the overhead rack. They escaped in Nyon before we could react, and unfortunately, we received little support from the train staff. Last Thursday, on the VeveyâGeneva train, my parents, my 7âyearâold kids, and I were targeted by three young people using a distraction technique to steal our backpack.
They threw a coin near my parents to distract us while one of them grabbed a bag from the overhead rack. They ran off in Nyon before we could react, and there was no real support or protocol from the staff.
