What to do around Paris for a week?
Our take
Hello everyone,
I will be traveling to Paris next month and the final destination is Amsterdam. I have already planned the Netherland part and want your help in France π«π·.
It will be 6 days in France then heading to Amsterdam.
I think of spending four days in Paris staying in hotel or guest house. The other two days to visit villages/countryside and staying the overnight (Airbnb) as I love nature.
Is this plan good? Do you suggest any alternatives?
Do I need to rent a car for the two days outside Paris (convenient)?
What countryside/villages should I visit near to Paris?
Should I stay the whole night in Paris and visit countryside (round trip)?
Note the plan is flexible I can add one more day or take some off.
Please advise ππ»

- What itinerary makes sense for France-Belgium-Netherlands with a round trip from Paris? It's roughly a two week trip where I land in Paris from Canada. I was thinking of visiting Paris for couple of days and make my way to Belgium then to the Netherlands. My flight back is in Paris though. I figured it would come to the same if I did France to Belgium to Netherlands then back to France then switching Belgium and Netherlands ? At the same time, for any people with experiences from those countries? Was wondering if I should focus more time on either Belgium or Netherlands ?! I would have a week to visit both and my initial plan was to split 2 days in Belgium and 4 days in Netherlands. But, would like to visit Brussels, Bruges and Ghent if it's doable in 2-3 days. And Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague). I feel like it's too cramped up but wanted some advice. submitted by /u/goatmaster95 [link] [comments]
- Planning a trip to France in June or July for 10 days! Recommend we place to visit?Hey guys, I am planning a trip to France. I am coming from the Netherlands and my first stop would be Paris and then head towards Normandy spend few days here and also visit the Γtretat. I was wondering if Nomady is the right place to go in early June to early July? On my search for things to do everything looks nice but Will it be too crowded? Is there anything else you think we should do our 10 days trip? Me and my husband are trying to plan n idyllic relaxing trip after all the stress we had in past few months. So, anything chill and considerably easy to reach by a car or train, we are up for it. Thanks in advance submitted by /u/Confusedmind75 [link] [comments]
