When is Machu Picchu most and least lush green?
Our take
Hello! If you're aiming to soak in the lush green beauty of Machu Picchu, the best months are typically from November to April, when the rain nourishes the landscape. However, this period can also bring heavier rainfall, potentially affecting visibility. Conversely, the months of June to August offer drier weather but may not showcase the vibrant greenery you're hoping for. Early September can be a great compromise, as the region starts to transition, often delivering clearer days with lush scenery. Enjoy your adventure!
Hello,
Can i know which months offer the best lush green views of Machu Picchu and the least lush green?
I was considering visiting early September, but worried if it would be green during that time as seen in the photos. I don't want to be disappointed if the experience would be in stark contrast to the lush green picturesque photos.
Does lush green season mean more rain interruptions which might hamper the experience?
Ideally we want clearer days and lush green landscape. What are the visiting month recommendations for this combination?
Thanks
