It sounds like a dream come true, right? The weather even played along, showering them with sunshine on their last day, a perfect ending to an amazing journey.

From the vibrant Market Square, a kaleidoscope of colorful buildings that just screams good vibes, to the breathtaking Wrocław University, a true masterpiece that made for a perfect base camp, every moment was a discovery. And the views! Bastion Sakwowy offered a stunning panorama of the river, and Bastion Ceglarski provided a memorable glimpse of the magnificent cathedral. Speaking of the cathedral, u/aaron_x3x_ is already planning a return trip, vowing to explore its interior – a bold move that promises even more adventure! And for anyone who loves a touch of whimsy, the Kolejkowo museum is an absolute must-see. This place is packed with intricate handmade figures, sprawling landscapes, and charming model trains, all showcasing incredible attention to detail. It's the kind of place that sparks your imagination and makes you feel like a kid again!

I recently returned from a solo trip to the city of Wrocław, Poland where I spent 5 days/4 nights, albeit the first and last day were mostly arriving/leaving so 3 full days to explore.
Having already been to Poland before (I visited Kraków & Zakopane in April 2025), I had high hopes and already knew I wanted to return again so originally I had planned for Warsaw, but I hastily decided to change to Wrocław and I am so glad I did!

Warsaw's Charm: An Epic Polish Adventure Awaits!

I was in Warsaw from April 5th until April 9th, not my first time in Poland but in Warsaw. And I must say, I can almost only tell positive things. The city is very pretty, the Palace over culture and science (image 3) is simply stunning. You can access the viewing platform on the 31st floor via an elevator and have a view over the city. Warsaw is very walkable, and even for places a bit outside, the system of Metro and Bus is wonderful. It’s not expensive, very frequent and anything was on time. The city is very clean and you hardly find any litter on the street. We visited two museums. The museum of the Warsaw uprising, which was very interesting but a bit confusing in it’s making, and the National Museum of Poland, which is an art museum with artworks from various years. Almost every museum has a day where it has free entry, so it’s worth to have a look into that if you plan a visit. The food was amazing. We especially loved Zapiekanka. It’s like a warm sandwich with the topping you like that you get as a typical street food here. The place we bought it from made it freshly and it just tasted awesome (so good in fact that I even wrote a 5 star review on Google). Also you get Pierogi all over the city. I can just say two negative points in total, both of which the city isn’t really to blame. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, as heavy wind made the temperatures feel like around freezing point even in April. And our booked room was unbelievable dirty, even with mold in the showers and so on.
