Most trips I’ve done earlier were fully planned before starting

Cities, routes, bookings, number of days in each place

I thought that would make things easier

But after a few days it actually started feeling tiring

Not the travel itself

Just constantly thinking where next, how long, what’s the plan

At some point I stopped trying to fix everything

Started from Delhi, picked a direction and just moved

Didn’t decide how long to stay anywhere

Reached a place, stayed if it felt right, left if it didn’t

Some places were just stopovers some I stayed longer than expected

After a while I stopped thinking in terms of “how many days here”

It became more like do I feel like leaving yet or not

Surprisingly it felt much simpler

Less thinking, more clarity

Curious if anyone else has tried traveling like this

Does not planning much actually make it better?p
