Best Box dye for brown hair

Hey everyone! I want to dye my hair brown. I am naturally a dark brown haired girly but i currently have highlights and dyed my hair pink back in December(professionally). However, I’m a college student and I don’t want to keep spending money on getting my hair dyed professionally so I just want to dye my hair a nice brown color to get rid of the weird roots I have because of the pink. Any recommendations?
