Colombia Itinerary with Kids

Traveling 12/26-1/2.

Kids will be 5 and 2. We don’t want to travel too much given their ages so we are planning on:

12/26-12/31- Medellin

12/31-1/2- Guatepe (leave for airport 1/2 AM)

Is that too much time in Guatepe? we really want to go but a day trip doesn’t seem long enough. Figured a nice way to unwind before we head home.

i don’t think we are going to get bored in Medellin, but if we do- any recommendations on day trips (60-90min)?
