Why does facial hair remover cause a stubble feeling? Is it temporary?

Hey everyone, I really need some advice....😭😭

So I recently bought the Braun mini facial hair remover and tried it only on my upper lip (moustache area). I haven’t used it on my whole face yet because I got kinda scared after this.

Right after using it, the area feels like spike.... Like tiny sharp, thorny hair, almost like stubble or beard feeling 😭 Idk how to explain properly but it feels hard and not soft at all, and that’s exactly what I DON’T want. For context I don’t have PCOS or anything, and my facial hair is actually very minimal and fine but it’s still visible so I wanted to remove it.... I just want my skin to feel smooth and soft, not rough like this.

So I wanted to ask that is this normal after using these devices and Does this spiky and stubble feeling go away in 2–3 days and become soft again ? Or does it stay like this for long? and should I continue using it or switch to something like threading instead?

Also I’m a college student so I don’t want anything too expensive or high maintenance 🥲

Would really appreciate honest experiences, especially from girls who’ve used this
