Thinking about a long expedition but lack experience.

It's been many years since I've been able to travel because of finances and life but I've come to the point where life seems to be getting stale and a bit depressing here in Canada.
I've wanted since my early 20s to travel and see this great world but at 38 never really made it happen.

To fill the void I watch a lot of travel vloggers like Itchy Boots, Haarald Baldr, Kino Yves etc etc and it's made me want to see the world even more.. Itchy Boots being sort of the inspiration as well as Kino who basically decided to get a bike and just go... Itchy boots a motorbike and Kino a sort of trike / bicycle.

Kino has spent the past 4 years now cycling from France to South Africa and Itchy Boots has done something like 90 countries on her motorcycles and she's been in some roughest parts of the world like Afghanistan and much of Africa as well as Latin America on her own...

This gives me the idea that I should do something like that to.. Maybe take the few dollars that I have and take a flight to Thailand or something and buy myself a Honda and start to travel.. I would want to go the distance and see places in China, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia but then I run in to a bit of a problem when it comes to traversing to the next region.. Bangladesh - India and then Pakistan towards the north into Tajikistan is my thoughts but I really don't know how safe or good of an idea that is to do on my own..

Any thoughts? Am I crazy? Is this a bad idea for a random guy to just up and go? Is my route a bad idea?? My other thoughts were to do the Africa thing but Africa is difficult to travel as certain parts are very hostile to travelers. Mali, Central Africa, Congo, South Sudan, Somalia and a few others are almost no go's so it becomes a bit of a struggle to find the best routes.. I'm amazed that Kino on his little peddle bike pulled it off lol.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated from anybody experienced in such a thing even on costs of such a thing?. Thanks in advance

Edit - Why am I downvoted...? Can't ask or say anything on Reddit without being stomped on?
