How many items of clothing in each category do you think is enough

I've seen this posted a few times, but its always from the perspective of "do I have too much?" YouTube videos are always like "You don't actually need new clothes! Here's how you can shop your closet."

But the thing is, very recently I had basically nothing. When I moved back to the US I had like 3 pairs of leggings and a few tshirts, and one pair of jeans that were completely ripped open in the crotch. After a year, I had a new pair of jeans that replaced my old pair, a handful of dresses, and probably like one nice shirt. Now, for the first time in probably a decade, I own TWO pairs of jeans! TWO pairs of shorts! THREE skirts! And a skort! I just counted what's hanging in my closet, and I have 9 nice shirts, 14 dresses, one jean jacket, 4 hoodies, and a sweater. I have I would guess maybe half a dozen pairs of shoes?

Have I made it? Is this a proper wardrobe size? Without speaking to how well each piece contributes, of course!
