Recommendations For Skin Care Products That Don't Leave A Greasy/Shiny Finish? :(
I've been consistently doing my skin care routine ever since I first got into it back in November and while it has greatly helped my super duper oily skin, literally every skin care product that I've ever used (Except for the Cetaphil Cleanser I'll mention) has left the most annoying, greasy finish on my face and I feel so hopeless in finding something that *doesn't* do that 😭 For anyone wondering, I'm currently using the Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser, Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner, Good Molecules Discoloration Correction Serum, and Good Molecules Lightweight Moisturizer and by the end of it, my skin looks pretty greasy. While it does work in getting rid of the blackheads on my nose, I wanna switch everything *but* the cleanser out for something else...But I'm scared to because it works *amazingly* for the blackheads on my nose (For some reason, it's not even TOUCHING the blackheads on my chin 🤣🤣). And if I keep using this for a few more months, they'll be gone!
But I feel like my skincare routine gets in the way of my makeup, considering that it ruins it and leads it to turn orange. I feel like with the insane rise in K-Beauty and the whole "glass skin" craze, the west has really taken this trend on and put the ingredients that make this look into literally *every* makeup and skincare product, and it's frustrating as someone with oily skin who prefers a more matte finish 🫤 Any suggestions for skin care products that will help me achieve that finish, even if I *don't* wear makeup? When I get done with doing my skincare, the grease from the products can make it extremely difficult to distinguish it from my own natural oils 😫
