Botched lash lift and an event upcoming

Hello! I'm just here cause I want to hear from folks who have had botched lash lifts. The gist of the situation is: my lashes were over processed and are now little stubs, what can I do to look and feel pretty during an upcoming event :(

I wanted to have a little confidence boost and went in for a lash lift today. I figured with an event coming up, it would be perfect. It looked really off when the tech finished but she assured me it was temporary.

By the time I got home and the next couple hours throughout the evening, I barely touched my lashes. I was about to do my evening face washing and skin care only to notice half of the length of my lashes gone. I thought they might have just been curled too close to the lid, but looking closer now, they're just little stubs.

I am so incredibly upset, especially because I knew something was off before leaving the salon.

I have an event to go to in a couple of days, and am on the way to visiting family in a different city first thing in the AM, so I can't drop by the salon immediately. I've already messaged them about it and am currently waiting for a reply.

I know at this point it's just a waiting game, but I'm also worried they might have damaged the follicles cause of the harsh chemicals.

Any advice would be appreciated. Honestly it just helps to be able to vent.
