Are there any eco-friendly or sustainable men’s denim shorts available?

I visited a clothing store to find eco friendly men denim shorts two days ago. I wanted something light and sustainable for summer wear. I also wanted shorts that feel comfortable and last more than one season. But when I checked them I felt confused. Some looked eco friendly but fabric details were unclear. Some felt soft but stitching quality seemed average. I could not trust them. I could not decide confidently.

Then I visited another shop in the same area. Some shorts looked better but prices were very high. Some were affordable but sustainability claims were not properly explained. Some seemed perfect at first but I was not sure how they perform after washing and daily use. I remembered I bought denim shorts before that faded quickly and lost shape. That made me hesitate even more.

To check more variety and options while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I found many eco friendly and sustainable men denim shorts. Levi’s has some shorts made with WaterLess and more responsible cotton methods. Patagonia offers recycled fabric shorts designed for durability and outdoor use. Nudie Jeans focuses on organic cotton and repair friendly products for longer life. Everlane provides simpler denim shorts with transparent sourcing. Smaller brands also use organic or recycled denim but quality can vary depending on price. There were many options available. This made me excited but also confused again.

Now I am thinking should I choose well known sustainable brands for better trust and durability or smaller eco friendly brands for lower price and variety in men denim shorts what would you do in my place?
