After falling in love with Thailand, where should we travel next in Asia?

Our take

Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I just returned from our first adventure in Asia, and we absolutely fell in love with Thailand! The vibrant food, the warmth of the locals, and the stunning landscapes created an unforgettable experience. While we plan to return someday, we're eager to continue our travels and explore more of Asia. However, we worry that nothing could quite compare to Thailand’s magic. We’d love your recommendations for other must-visit destinations in Asia and why they should be on our list.

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend and I recently traveled to Thailand for our very first trip to Asia.

We completely fell in love with the country,

the food, the kindness of the people, the landscapes, and the overall atmosphere. If we had to mention one downside, it would probably be the high level of tourism in some areas. Despite that, we will definitely go back one day.

Now we would love to explore other countries in Asia, but we’re a bit worried that nothing will live up to our experience in Thailand.

What destinations in Asia would you recommend after Thailand, and why?

Thanks in advance for your advice and personal experiences!
