Arizona Trip: Sedona, Grand Canyon, Scottsdale

Our take

Hey adventurers! If you're planning a last-minute trip to Sedona, you’re in for an epic experience! With stunning red rock views and a vibrant spirit, Sedona is perfect for exploring, even for non-hikers. Must-see spots include Devil's Bridge and Cathedral Rock, which offer breathtaking views without requiring intense hiking. Late April brings warm weather, so stay hydrated! You can enjoy a hike, take a break, and then explore local shops or indulge in some spiritual self-care. Let's make this adventure unforgettable!

Boyfriend and I are traveling to Sedona. We like to walk a lot but are not really hikers (although would like to do that more) so I am not sure how well we will tolerate the hikes. This is very last minute so I don't have a lot of time to research and plan.

- What are the must see views and hikes that everyone goes to and please let me know how doable is it for nonhikers. I don't want to go to Sedona and miss out but at the same time not sure the intensity of the hikes.

- Is it very hot at the end of April?

- How long is a hike time wise? And is it reasonable to do 1 hike take a long break and do another hike? Or should we be doing only 1 hike a day?

- If we do 1 hike a day, any recommendations what to do the rest of the day before dinner? I am into spiritual woo woo stuff so if there are any recommendations for that. Would also go for a massage, meditation, etc. And would also explore any town area?

- What is there to do in Scottsdale.. during the day and going out at night? Or should we just do all 4 days in Sedona?

We are thinking of the following itinerary. Please help me fill it in.

For hikes- I am looking at Devil's Bridge, Cathedral Rock, Oak Creek Canyon.. please let me know if there is something you would recommend instead that is must see. Should I try to fit in antelope canyon?

Daytime- old town strip, tlaquepaque

Dinners- to be determined, I saw some recommendations will look into it after planning the day part

Day 1- Sedona

We are landing in Pheonix and get to Sedona around 3pm.

What is reasonable to do the rest of the day?

Day 2- Grand Canyon

Not really sure what the plan is here

Day 3- Sedona

Day 4- Scottsdale
