Carry-On Liquid Bag

Our take

Hey everyone! Excited for your upcoming trip from New England to Orlando? Traveling light with just a carry-on and personal item is a great choice! With TSA pre-check, you’re already ahead of the game. Now, about your liquids: while many travelers swear by using a clear case like the Calpak Small Clear cosmetics bag, it’s essential to remember that TSA rules typically require liquids to be in a quart-sized bag.

Hey everyone!

Apologies if this has been asked a bunch but I couldn’t find anything in the subreddit that answered my exact question. I’m traveling from New England to Orlando (Disney) next year and it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on a plane! Planning in doing carry-on & personal item only. Also planning on flying one of the major airlines (SW, Delta, United, JetBlue, AA) and definitely getting TSA pre-check.

My question is: How likely is it that I could pack my carry-on liquids in a clear case versus a baggie and not be flagged? I’ve seen people all over TikTok say it’s totally fine but thought I’d bring it here to get more insight. I want to get the Calpak Small Clear cosmetics bag (https://www.calpaktravel.com/products/small-clear-cosmetics-case) it’s 8.25” x 6” x 4”. Thanks in advance for all your insight!!
