destination suggestions for travel over christmas

hey fellow travellers!

i am not the biggest fan of christmas, so i travelled during this time of year last year. i really enjoyed it and want to do it again this year. i am looking for destination suggestions. last year i was in istanbul, which is also my plan for this year, if i cant find another destination. the time will be from december 24th to january 5th.

my first post got removed, because i did not include a budget. i didnt think it would be necessary, since i am asking for destinations and in most places you can book a hostel room for € 10 per night or a five star one for € 1.000 per night. so my budget for this is limitless, i dont care if you suggest a generally cheap or generally expensive destination. just in case a certain number has to be included: my budget is € 9.548,94 max.

requirements:

• country which doesnt celebrate christmas in this time frame, since i dont want to go to a place where most places are closed during the 24th and 25th and i have to sit alone in a hotel room
• the destination should be a city, i am not interested in "nature" things (f. e. beach, hiking, camping, ...)
• i do like to get drinks and to party, so a destination where drinking alcohol is banned or looked down upon is not ideal
• due to the current geopolitical situation the USA and the entire middle east are not options

so yeah, curious about your suggestions 😄

edit 1: i forgot to mention that i am homosexual, so it also should be a country where i am not in danger of death for that

edit 2: i am in europe, so destinations in the far east sound nice, but i feel it would be a bit of a too long flight, considering that i only have twelve nights to stay
