EES question
Our take
I recently traveled to Germany in October, where I used the new EES system to scan my passport, fingerprints, and have my picture taken at a kiosk. However, during my trip to Lisbon last month, all the machines were out of order, so I couldn't complete the process there. Now, as I prepare for my trip to Italy on April 17th, I’m confused about whether I need to register again.
I travelled to Germany in October after the partial rollout of ees and scanned my passport, finger prints and has my picture taken at one of those kiosk machines. I then went to Lisbon last month and as many may have heard all the machines were out of order so nothing done there.
Now on 17th April I travel to Italy and I’m unsure as to whether or not I’d have to register again as I’ve seen mixed messages like people being told to re-register their details at the kiosks even though they’ve done it before.
Will the registration in Germany be the one and done I need or do I need to redo it in Italy as it’s after the full rollout?
