Help with Portugal and Azores. 2 weeks. Itinerary

Our take

Hey adventurer! Planning a two-week solo trip to Portugal and the Azores sounds incredible! With your landing and departure in Lisbon, you have the perfect opportunity to explore both the mainland and the stunning islands. I recommend budgeting around five days for the Azores, which allows ample time to soak in its natural beauty and unique experiences. For Portugal, dedicate the remaining time to cities like Porto, Sintra, and Faro, ensuring you capture the essence of this vibrant country. Let’s craft an unforgettable itinerary together!

Hello, I plan to go to Portugal and Azores for 2 weeks in early June. I will be landing in Lisbon. I will also depart from Lisbon when the 2 weeks ends.

Now, my question is, how much time should I budget for seeing the Azores and Portugal? Would it make sense to go to Azores first or middle or end of my trip?

Little background: I am solo travelling (first time), introvert, not interested in night life and I do not drink so not too interested in Douro Valley. I want to see a lot of Portugal, not just Lisbon. How would you recommend I structure my itinerary? Any places I shouldn't miss and/or can miss?

I am very early into making my itinerary so I would appreciate any and all suggestions! Thanks!
