In early April 2026, I embarked on an unforgettable journey to Manang, Nepal. The region offers a stunning contrast of weather, with snow blanketing the landscape one day and sunshine melting it away the next. The adventure begins with a bumpy ride along nearly 100 kilometers of mostly unpaved road from Beshisahar, a trek that locals say has improved recently. Despite the rough journey, reaching Manang reveals breathtaking views that feel like stepping into a dream.
| | I visited the Manang region of Nepal in early April 2026. It's still snowing on some days in April and on other days it's sunny and the snow melts. It's incredible it can snow one one day and we see all white landscapes and on the next day, the snow melts and it's a sunny and clear day. The trip by road to Manang is through almost 100km of mostly unpaved road (although road conditions has improved from 1 year ago according to locals) from the town of Beshisahar which marks the end of the path road. However, once reached on a very bumpy journey, the view is out of the world. [link] [comments] |
