Only have 10 days off - is Vietnam a good idea?
Our take
Considering a trip to Vietnam with just 10 days off sounds like an exciting challenge! With your PTO from August 12-22 and the long flight times from San Francisco, it’s essential to weigh your options. Vietnam holds personal significance for you, especially with roots in Da Nang, making it a meaningful destination. However, if you’re concerned about making the most of your time, exploring other nearby Asian countries might be a great alternative. Have others successfully experienced Vietnam in a similar timeframe?
Have PTO Aug 12-22, but am based in San Francisco so flight times are like 18-19 hours sometimes more. Wanted to see if it was worth trying Vietnam (I’m viet and have never been) or if I should do another country and save Vietnam for a longer PTO.
Anyone do Vietnam in the same about of time? My mother is from Da Nang so that is pretty important for me to see.
Any other countries in Asia to recommend?
