Madrid after Sevilla — how should I split 3.5 days between the city, Segovia, and Toledo?

Our take

After falling in love with the vibrant charm of Sevilla, you’re now off to explore Madrid for 3.5 days! It’s totally natural to feel a bit apprehensive about whether the capital can match your previous adventure. To make the most of your time, consider splitting your days between the city and exciting day trips to Segovia and Toledo. Spending 1.

After falling in love with Sevilla, I’m heading to Madrid for 3.5 days. I’ll be honest, I’m a little scared it won’t live up to the experience I just had, and I’m going in without a real itinerary.
I’m trying to figure out the best way to distribute my time. Would it make more sense to dedicate all 3.5 days to Madrid itself, or should I spend around 1.5 days in the city and use the remaining 2 days for day trips to Segovia and Toledo? Any advice is appreciated!
